Moses' Life

Moses is the main actor of Exodus – his life can be divided into three periods of time or three periods of 40 years:

1. 40 years in Pharaoh’s house thinking he was somebody. (Exodus 2:11-15) 2. 40 years in exile in Midian learning he was a nobody (Exodus 2:16-3:1) 3. 40 years in the wilderness discovering what God can do with a nobody (Exodus 3:1- Deuteronomy)
