Reasons to Meditate on God's Word

Psalm 1:2 speaks of delighting in God's word. I'll give some reasons we should delight in God's word.

1) Psalm 119:9 - Our way is cleansed by taking heed to it 2) Psalm 119:11 – The word keeps us from sinning 3) John 17:17 – Were sanctified by the word 4) 2 Timothy 2:7 – We reflect on the word and the Lord will give us understanding in all things 5) Hebrews 5:12-14 – Skill in the word results in maturity and being able to discern both good and evil 6) 1 Peter 2:2 – We desire the word so that we may grow
