A God of Action

A God of action

Exodus 3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; Exodus 3:8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Sometimes God may seem distant and not interested in our lives but that just isn't true. Notice the words Moses uses to describe God's interest in Israel's situation when they were in bondage in Egypt.

I have seen the affliction I have heard their cries I know their sorrows I am come down to deliver them I will bring them up into a land flowing with milk honey

Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. He notices Israel's plight and he notices ours. He may not do things in the in our timing and in our manner but David said he will never see the righteous forsaken (Psalm 37:25). If David could say this with all he went through it can be our testimony also.

Our God is a God of action.
